Boomerang Theater
Intercultural Theater with a Social Focus
Boomerang Theater is an independent, intercultural performing arts group based in Germany.
Founded and directed by Mehdi Mehdiabadi, the group combines artistic experimentation with social engagement.
At the heart of our work lie themes such as migration, identity, childhood, multilingualism, and cultural coexistence.
Our multilingual and participatory productions create spaces for dialogue, empathy, and shared human experience.
Alongside stage performances, Boomerang runs theater workshops for children, youth, migrants, and Persian-speaking communities — aiming to make creative expression and cultural participation accessible to everyone.“I believe theater is not just a stage — it’s a mirror where societies can see their truths, fears, and hopes. My goal is to bring stories of migration, love, and resilience into a shared human space.” — Mehdi Mehdiabadi
We are open to collaborations, festival invitations, and creative partnerships
